Everything including rafting gear and tents were good and they were all ready for us at arrival. Guides gave great and fun safety demonstrations, good for first timers like me!
The Cusco rafting – The rain forest expedition is our longest adventure trip to the rain forest in the Urubamba river. The tour starts in Santa Rosa a small farm located near the river side just one hour from Machu Picchu. The whole river is packed with exciting rapids level III, IV and incredible views of the surroundings. You will eventually arrive to Quillabamba a nice town that still is not crowded with tourists. This Cusco rafting tour ends in Echarate small charming town into the rain forest.
Meals: 3 lunches, 2 breakfast and 2 dinners, snacks.
Equipment: Self bailing type V rafts, Type V life vest, safety kayak or safety cataract, wet suit, helmet, paddle-jacket, paddle), all camping gear.
Guides: Certified guides in Swift-water rescue, first aid advanced course, English speaking guides with experience of more than 8 years.
