Our guides are not experienced only on rivers in Peru, they also have worked on rivers around the world such as Futalefu, Zambezi, Norway and others. They are certified in Swiftwater Rescue III, SOLO, first aid advance, and some of them are Rafting Instructors, who certify other guides around Peru. In Cusco, Peru, there are only eight rafting companies who operate river rafting and just few that respect rules about safety. For your own safety, go with an outfitter with experienced and certified guides. When you are looking for rafting in Peru, always ask how many people they have per group, how many years of experience the guides have and especially ask about the company’s safety record. Many companies have had several accidents on the river, so for your own safety, do a little research about the company that you want to use for your tour adventure.
