In Cusco, Peru, there are only eight rafting companies who operate river rafting and just few that respect rules about safety. For your own safety, go with an outfitter with experienced and certified guides. When you are looking for rafting in Peru, always ask how many people they have per group, how many years of experience the guides have and especially ask about the company’s safety record. Many companies have had several accidents on the river, so for your own safety, do a little research about the company that you want to use for your tour adventure.
All of our guides are either members of the COLITUR (Peruvian Graduate Board of Tourism) or AGOTUR (Peruvian Guide Association of Tourism), which means they have undergone some of the most rigorous training possible and have met all the requirements to lead hiking or any trips around Peru.
