Looking for a short tour, Chilli River offers thrilling river rafting for beginners an intermediate. This section includes level II and III rapids just few minutes away from Arequipa. If you are looking for a quick rafting adventure with nice rapids in a beautiful setting, then the Chili River is for you.
River Explorers organize all the required trip planning, rafting gear, transportation and guides for your rafting tour in the Chili River. Your trip begins when your guide will meet you at the designated location (your hotel or our head quarters), and then, you will board our van for a 25 minute drive to the Chilli River put-in. Your guides will provide you with all your rafting equipment (life jacket, helmet, paddle, wet-suits and spray jacket). The head-guide will give a safety orientation about everything you need to know in the river, including the paddles strokes commands, how to sit on the boat, what to do in case someone fall of the raft and other safety measures.
There will be a few minutes to practice everything explained in the orientation briefing, and then, it’s time to get wet. As you go down the Chili River, the river guide will stop in some rapids to explain the oncoming rapids; how to run and where the safety will be located, and then you will be running thrilling rapids up to level III+ until you reach the end of the tour.

What is included?
Rafting gear: Life vest, wet-suits, paddle jackets, helmets, boats and safety kayak.
Guides: English speaking guide certified in Swift water rescue and advanced first aid courses.
Transport: Transportation from hotel to the beginning of rafting and from the end of the rafting to your hotel.
Distance in the river: 6 km of rafting. Start at 8 am at your hotel and finishes at 11am.

Lunch, breakfast, tips or any other not mentioned in the tour description.
What to bring?
Towel, sandals for River rafting, sunglasses, sun cream, dry clothes for changing after the rafting is finish, swimming-suits, shorts, items that you consider important.
