When you arrive in Lima, we’ll whisk you off to your hotel. Unpack your bags, we’ve arranged a meal for you at one of Lima’s best restaurants. Lima is known for its great food so enjoy the treat. Your kids will also enjoy their first adventure in Lima as you spend some time at a local water park.
The flight to Cusco will take you over the Andean Mountains and the amazing Amazon Jungle. Take the opportunity to gaze down on the wonders of nature. We’ll spend today in the Sacred Valley. This will give you and your little one’s an opportunity to acclimatize since it is 400 meters lower than Cusco. Our first trip will be to a farm, filled with cute, funny camelids. Your children will love spending time amongst the alpaca, llama and vicuña on the farm.
Now we’re off on a short but thrilling hike through the Sacred Valley complex. While we’re there we’ll explore tunnels and learn the history of the mighty Inca warriors and their families. We’ll have lunch in Pisaq and then drive on to the Urubamba River.
There’s nothing quite like flying through the air over the magical Sacred Valley. Your kids will enjoy the thrill of the ride in complete safety.
You have a choice of seven zip lines from 150mt to 700mt, for a total of 2800mt. We’ll take about half an hour to get to the first line. Once we’re there you can spend three or four hours zipping through the air. Your group is private so we tailor the experience to your needs.
When you’re done, we’ll take you back to your hotel. Take time out to enjoy a scrumptious meal at one of the Sacred Valley’s best restaurants.
Your guide will collect you at your hotel after you’ve enjoyed a healthy breakfast and you’re all set for a day of fun in the sun.
River rafting is a favorite pastime in this part of the world and you’re about to discover why. Enjoy the wondrous scenery and explore the history of the area around the river. Our journey will take us across some fun, child-friendly rapids through breathtaking landscapes. Children will easily manage one-man kayaks and they’ll have so much fun. It’s a trip they’ll never forget. The trip is about two hours. We’ll bring along a snack that your children will love, and we’re betting that you will too.
When you’re finished rafting, we’re taking a train trip on the Vistadome service. Lunch is served on the train and your family will enjoy live entertainment. Don’t forget to spend some time looking at the splendid views as we follow the Urubamba River from the Sacred Valley into a rainforest gorge.
Enjoy your breakfast. We’re about to take a shuttle service to Machu Picchu.
We’ve designed a special program for families with little adventurers. You’ll take a guided tour of Machu Picchu, followed by a short climb up a small peak, Huchuy Picchu. It’s just behind the citadel. Your children will love the adventure and learn so much too.
In the early afternoon we’ll catch a train to Aguas Calientes. From there, we’ll drive to Cusco.
Today, you decide what fun activity your family will enjoy. You could do a three-hour horseback riding tour in the Cusco region, exploring the ruins on the outskirts of the city. The horses are small and tame, so your children will easily manage. If you’d prefer to walk, spend the day wandering through the fascinating ruins and bustling plazas in Cusco city.
You also have the option of attending a chocolate workshop where you’ll learn how to make chocolate and visit the chocolate museum. What sweet delight!
Transfer from your hotel to Cusco airport. Fly home. Your family will remember this occasion for years.
