Your personal information – which and why

When you book a trip with River Explorers E.I.R.L. we ask for this information:

Address
Email address
Phone number / mobile number
Passport Information
Food allergies or health disorders that are important to us to know.

These personal data are treated exclusively in connection with the performance of the service you purchased from us (eg arranging and carrying out a package trip) as necessary for us to fulfill our part of the deal. Due to the fact that accounting information is to be stored for 5 years, it is the time we store your information. Then your information will be deleted.

For marketing purposes, we can use your first and last name’s first letter. We do not use your full name for marketing purposes without first obtaining your consent.

In connection with the performance of your trip, we have some suppliers and collaborators as necessary to share your personal information with. This applies to our sister travel agency in Peru and possibly. Other travel providers, hotels / hostals / B & B’s, INC (Peru’s National Institute Culture) which administer Inkastien and Machu Picchu as well as various transport providers (bus companies, airlines, etc).

Changes in our personal data policy

Over time, we are likely to need to update and make changes to this policy, and we reserve the right to update and modify it. If we make any significant changes, we will let you know by email.

Disclosure, change and deletion of personal data
